Man with tough views on pronouns calls his car ‘she’

A man who describes himself as a “no-nonsense, straight talking bloke” who does not have any grasp of the pronouns debate calls his car a ‘she’, we can confirm.

Trevor Terry says the pronoun debate is ‘not living in reality’ and he prefers to just spend time with his car, a blue Land Rover Defender, whom he calls Landy May.

‘She’s a beauty. Me and her drive up the coast most weekends to get away from the woke crap. I talk to her too and she’s a good listener, fairplay. When I park up I’ll give her alloys a little polish and a little pat on the bonnet…if you know what I mean?’

‘I’ll turn the radio on but if that Sam Smith is on I have to turn off! You can’t just be whatever gender you feel like, it’s biology innit. And that’s what I’ll say to Landy May! She knows what I’m on about ‘cause we say it how it is; and she understands me.’

‘These people don’t know themselves. But Landy May and I know each other very well, inside and out you might say. I was changing the oil on her the other day and she was feeling it, I was feeling it too. Things got a little heated and I’m not afraid to say it, I had a dip.’

Sam Smith was unavailable for comment.
