Xmas market stall sticking with selling lighters

A Christmas market stall has decided it is sticking with the lighters it sells all year round, we can reveal.

Royston Bell, 52, has been flogging his lighters, which, generally do not sell well, for 25 years at pop-up markets across North Wales.

So the upcoming Christmas markets he will be sticking to that, he told us, ‘Yes I'll be there with all the lighters, football ones, clear ones, brand new page 3 stunner ones with Jo Guest and Melinda Messenger on them.’

‘I’ll be making it festive of course by wearing a Christmas hat, and we’ll have a bit of Slade on repeat.’

Royston bought his stock in 1989 from Vietnam when it was easier to get gas through customs, adding, ‘I bought 20,000 and got a free gas canister.’
