Town that gets flooded every year shocked it has flooded again

A UK town that gets flooded every single year, seems shocked it’s flooded again, we can reveal.

The streets of Blaxton-on-Sea are flooded most years but it has not stopped the shock of locals when after nothing has been done to stop flooding since last year, it flooded yet again this year.

Town-hanger-around man Dennis James couldn’t believe it, he said, ‘I’m in shock. After days of rain, like most years, it’s flooded. I can’t believe it because the year before last, it flooded. The year before that it flooded and now look at it! Flooded again.’

‘Even though I knew it would flood with all the rain we’ve had, I’ve still come to town. You have to don’t you?’

Councillor Jim Revs told us, ‘It’s a disgrace I haven’t done anything about this. We were warned a few years ago that we need flood defences and we just haven’t listened. Definitely going to listen this time though. Although, we’ve had the flood now, so we’ll do something next year probably.’
