Rishi Sunak to spend day applying for Universal Credit

The former PM is to spend several hours applying for Universal Credit and will soon find out when his appointment is, we can reveal.

Sunak is hoping to be given the benefit as his main income has severely diminished, he told us, ‘I bloody hope I’m entitled to something and they don’t give me grief about things.’

‘I’ve a few friends, not working, who say they have nothing but trouble with the forms. I better make sure I fill them in properly too because no doubt they’ll be saying they’ve given me too much in a few months and I’ll be paying back for god knows how long.’

‘Apparently I have to put all my wife’s information too, how annoying is that? I just don’t know why they have to make it this difficult for hard working people like me.’
