Night shift receptionist clinically dead

A night worker on a hotel reception has been clinically dead for several years, it can be revealed.

Donna Slater has managed to hold down her job despite passing on in 2020. Her shift manager Greg told us, ‘It’s sad that she is clinically dead but she is in on time, does the wake up alarm calls and stocks the vending machine on every shift.’

‘Yes, sometimes when people phone the reception desk she can struggle with appearing…alive. But she did somewhat better than Daniel, who has been clinically dead for only a few months and he can barely refill the soap dispensers in his state, so quite frankly we are very happy with her and her work and that’s why she’s once again our employee of the year.’

One hotel visitor said, ‘I’ve been a frequent visitor here and I suspected she was dead but my room had always been spotless and my alarm calls on time. I wrote on Tripadvisor that it’s a shame the receptionist is clinically dead but still better service than the man on the breakfasts.’
