Women over 50 seeking compensation after years of house chores go uncredited on Facebook

A group of women over the age of 50 are seeking damages for never being given credit for their house chores on a popular social media site, we can reveal.

The group are claiming that it’s completely unfair how women now get ‘Likes’ and superlatives for things they’ve done for years.

In a statement they said, ‘We’ve had to sit by while these young women brush the floor now and again, then take to Facebook to tell everybody. They are getting plaudits such as ‘Such a good mum babe’ and ‘Your house is always spotless Hun, your Dad would’ve been so proud.’ And we can’t stand by and take this when the generations before did a lot more and never received even a thank you or a muscle arm emoji.’ then adding, ‘We want our credit, and we want it now!’

Some young Mums hit back, Lisa Shivers said on a Facebook post, ‘We do a lot, for instance I just fed my baby and later on I’ll HAVE to do it again. It’s not our problem these old Karens didn’t get credit.’

Lisa’s friend then commented, ‘Brilliant Hun, so strong and brave commenting on this issue 💪.’
