Plaid Cymru to put speed limit up to 150 mph if they win election

Plaid Cymru are set to pledge that all roads will have a maximum speed of 150 mph, as their election campaign gets under way.

Plaid road minister Bleddyn Coch told us, ‘It’s time to get the country moving again. The 20 mph limit is deeply unpopular so we will change it to 150mph and everyone can get where they’re going.’

‘Tractors will also be allowed to drive over anything they want, whichever way they want. We are the party for Wales and our farmers need to come back to voting for Plaid so we hope this will help. They can also throw their sheep wherever they want and kill badgers willy-nilly.’

‘We hope that the campaigners against the 20mph zones will also jump over to Plaid from their respective ‘Drakeford is a 20 Nonce Party’.’
