Mother still refusing to use commas in text

Beryl Crump Local News

A mother is still refusing to use any commas in her text messages, we can reveal.

Debbie Loafy has not used grammar since leaving school in the 1980’s and she does not see why she has to make the effort now.

She said, ‘It’s hardly worth it let’s face it. I can text my daughter about what’s for tea, what’s on television and about the nan dying in one long breath.’

‘She can work out where the commas go.’

Debbie’s daughter told us, ‘It’s like reading one long monologue about 5 different subjects and then it’s up to me to see where I think she’s actually changed the subject or not. It actually made it easier hearing the news about my nan so abruptly when she wrote, ‘Meatballs pasta Columbo marathon on Nan dead aneurism’, so not all bad.’
