Man rests after Mother’s Day and International Woman’s Day Facebook posts

A tired man is now resting up after a heavy weekend of social media posts where he had to mention his fiancé TWICE.

Barry Jenkins spent several hours finding the correct words to link his future wife to International Women’s day, using the superlatives ‘Powerful’ and ‘Strong’ more than once. Then with no time to spare, it was Mother’s Day, where he used words such as ‘Brave’, inspirational’ and ‘Is a good mam’.

He told us, ‘It was very busy weekend and hopefully I'll get the rewards. I’ll be honest, it was difficult writing two different posts and hopefully she didn’t notice I used many of the same words. I think in future years I might just try to put both occasions in one post.’

Fiancé Julie told us, ‘He did well. Comparing me to Beyoncé and Mother Teresa might have been a bit much though.’
