Mother pretends to kids’ friends that McDonald’s is a treat

A mother of two has lied to her childrens’ friends and their parents, by pretending a McDonald’s is a ‘treat’.

Debs Jones is a regular to her local with or without her kids and there was no way she was cooking. She said, ‘My kids are hard enough to cook for so I'm not wasting my time with other people’s picky children.’

‘I just go ‘We’re going to McDonalds!’ like they’ve never heard that and they get excited, probably because their little brains are craving the chemicals in the nuggets and can’t be bothered remembering we’ve been there twice this week already.’

One child, whose identity we’re duty bound to protect, said, ‘My mum and Dad, Debs and Mike, say it all the time. It’s definitely not a treat. I know the drive thru girls first names.’
