Man devastated wife going to Oasis with him

A man looking forward to next year’s Oasis gigs has been left devastated as his wife will be joining him.

John Brown was hoping to relive a time 20 years ago until his wife, Kate Brown, happily informed him that she was looking forward to going.

She told us, ‘Can’t wait. I’ve got the gig bug since Radio 2 in the Park last year. I’ve got it all arranged already. We will meet up with a couple we know, Bob and Silvia, who are mad, and have a few drinks with them. Then we’ll chill with some snacks while the support acts come on.’

‘It’ll be great because John can just stand by me all night.’

Saddened John says he did not think she wanted to go, ‘She’s never had any interest. She’s says she’ll be putting a picnic blanket in a basket.

‘I was hoping to get to the front, get leathered, have piss thrown at me, start a fight with a student and end up somewhere I’ve never heard of. But Kate said no.’

Kate insists it’ll be great, ‘Oh don’t listen to him. We can join hands with Bob and Silva and do a Mexican wave.’
