Bear cannot believe he has ended up in Colwyn Bay

A Mongolian bear can not actually believe he has ended up in Colwyn bay, we can reveal.

The bear, named Wayne, now lives at the popular North Wales Mountain Zoo surrounded by parrots and penguins. His keeper told us, ‘He looks a bit down.’

‘It’s almost like he’s realised where he has ended up. He used to be living the dream up in the Mongolian mountains but after a bit of bad luck running into some people who wanted him to dance, he’s ended up here.’

‘Some visitors say he looks like he’s lost his mind. But he’s dancing, as if to say, ‘I preferred doing that’.

The day we visited Wayne there was some hope.

‘We had a school in from Rhyl. He would never imagined in Mongolia that he’ll be being pointed at by a Year 4 from a Rhyl primary school. I think he and all the other animals could see the strain on the teachers’ faces and realised life could be a lot worse.’
