Man City evicted back to Maine Road
Manchester City have been removed from the Etihad Stadium and sent back to Maine Road, we can reveal.
After no wins in 11 games, City regressed to the team they were before their wealthy owners stepped in, and have been evicted back to their true home.
It is still unsure if Joe Royle will return to the fold but for now, some fans are relieved that it’s all over. One fan told us, ‘It’s been quite stressful pretending we were something we weren’t. It lasted a lot longer than we thought and quite frankly I’m glad to be in my normal state of disappointment.’
‘The sooner nobody cares about us again the better.
It’s been great but you can’t polish a turd, Pep has done marvellous to sprinkle it with glitter, mind you.’
Another supporter said, ‘We are like the lotto lout fella, our crapness is ingrained in our DNA, you just can’t buy it. After these 11 games, I can now have my natural miserable frown on my face and nobody asks me why.’
