Tim Henman back as British No1
Ex-tennis player Tim Henman is back as the British No.1 tennis player, we can report.
The retired former world 157, who never won a single major in his career, and is once again named as the number one seeded British player despite having not played for over 10 years.
He said, ‘I’m delighted. I was No.1 for so many years when I actually played and I won nothing then, so this won’t be any different.’
‘It’s quite nerve racking going into the next tournament being seen as someone with more chances of winning than all the current British men, but I look forward to the challenge. Especially as I’m commentating.’
British number 2 is Jack Draper, while Jeremy Bates is back at number 3.
