Kneecap sing impromptu ’Summer holiday’ at Wimbledon

Irish Band Kneecap have led an impromptu singalong of ‘Summer holiday’ at Wimbledon tennis championships, we can report.

The rap punsters stunned the crowd as rain stopped play, by grabbing a mic and covering the Cliff Richard classic.

The trio, who were sat next to the Princess of Wales, finished the popular song by leading the crowd into a ‘free Palestine’ chant while the future Queen looked on.

BBC presenter Claire Balding told viewers, ‘Splendid scenes here as the balaclava cladded singers wow the tennis loving crowd with their Jim McDonald style crooning. Just lovely.’

We have been told this was the first time the word ‘Palestine’ has ever been mentioned at Wimbledon.
