EURO 2024: Russia-Ukraine war interrupted with latest news from the England camp

The Russian and Ukraine conflict, which continues to rage on after more than 2 years, has been interrupted for the latest update from the England football team.

A bombardment on the Ukraine town of Vovchansk was cut short as the military from both warring countries were forced to stop and listen to Gareth Southgate updating everybody on ‘mood’ in their camp.

Ukrainian soldier Vlad Blitchcov said, ‘Thank goodness they gave us an update. We wouldn’t have been right going into today’s combat not knowing how ‘relaxed’ the England camp is. And it’s always great to ask Gareth Southgate once again if he thinks they can do it.’

It is not the first time this sort of thing has happened, Vietnam and the Falklands had a break during war times for all of the Three Lions’ news. ‘I just love to know about how Harry Kane’s penalty practices are going.’ said a Vietnam veteran.
