Bloke who served time for GBH complains how kids used to have respect

A man who was imprisoned for Grievous Bodily Harm has hit out at the behaviour of today’s youth, we can reveal.

Tom Watts, who spent much of his early 20s battering innocent people, says things used to be different in his day, 12 years ago.

He told us, ‘They’ve got no manners nowadays. They’re looking at their phones and their hair is green and stuff. Back in the day we would go out and have a good fight. They don’t have the respect to look up from there phones now, they’re not living in the moment at all. When we used to beat some student up, it would be there and then, we were in the moment...

‘When these teens do start trouble, it’s all filmed and out on social media. I feel sorry for them ‘cos with all these phones about they’ll find out who did it. Not in my day. We’d beat them, leave them on the floor in their own blood and that would be the end of it. Now, your Auntie and Uncle are watching it the day after, I mean where is the respect in that?’
