Wim Hof uses electric blanket 

The man who made ice baths famous has admitted he uses an electric blanket and those hand warming tea bag things.

The Iceman has finally come clean about his nightly routine which includes slippers that have been on the radiator, a hot water bottle and his mother holding his hands to her mouth whilst she blows on them.

‘After my day’s cold water activities, my mother makes me a nice hot bath. Then I’ll hold onto the warm tea bag things which de-numbs my hands so I can re-mould my testicles back into shape. My penis is even worse. It’s like I have three balls, I’ve been in that lake so much.’

Cold water therapy and wild swimming have been made popular by Wim's influential style. Derek Shnell now goes wild swimming every day, ‘I love it. I see a spot, take off my trousers and jump in. Today I went into a nearby pothole. The water was 5 inches deep. Just enough for me to dip my balls in. It’s done wonders for my mental health.’
