First Flip-Flops of the summer spotted in Abersoch

A first Flip-Flop of 2025 have been seen in Abersoch, we can reveal.

The summer footwear has not been seen since sometime near the end of last year, but local residents of the North Wales town Abersoch have informed us they are back in the area.

One unsurprised local told us, ‘Always the same, first sun of the year, the Flip-Flops are out. To me its not daffodils that tell me spring is coming, it’s the bloody Flips-Flops.’

Fifth homeowner and Flip-Flop wear Greg Bulldon-Leonard told us, ‘I’ve wore them as we have followed the sun around the globe. I’ve not worn anything other than a Flip-flop since I briefly swapped them for skis; the Flip-flops of the snow as we call them. Now it’s great to be back here in Ab-the-Cock for the bonafide Flip-Flop season of the world. Huraaahhh.’
