Horror as Abersoch tourists stops in Pwllheli

A couple has told of their horror as they accidentally stopped in Pwllheli instead of their desired destination Abersoch, we can reveal.

Babs and Alan Sweeney were left disturbed when their TomTom stopped in the middle of Pwllheli town centre and encountered a local.

Babs said, ‘I’m still shaking. We were having a perfectly delightful drive in the principality when we found ourselves in the middle of what can only be described as a slum. Alan was quite perturbed when he was approached by a local man who pretended he spoke elvish. It brought out a side not seen in Alan.’

Alan told us, ‘I don’t know what the stupid fucker was talking about. I was trying to tell him where we were trying to go and he insisted on speaking another language. When I said ‘Speak English, man!’ He said ‘I am, I am!’ The arrogant little twat.’

‘I have informed the MP for the region and her reply was quite patronising. She was talking as if she was from there or something. You don’t expect me to believe that.’

The local is believed to be a man named Dewi who insisted he was simply saying, ‘Carry on until you reach Abersoch.’
