Family to sue travel agent over ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to Northern Lights

Beryl Crump Local News

A family believe they were mis-sold a “once in a lifetime holiday” to see the aurora borealis in Finland, having since seen it twice from Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Mother Sian Price told The Daily Flange, “They can’t just lie and say that booking a package with them to see the Northern Lights is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I saw it from the Londis when I looked up last night.”

Sian now believes that the travel agent TUI knew all along that the Price family could have just stayed in Blaenau, barely having to leave their sofa in order to experience the magic of the disturbances in the Earth's magnetosphere.

“Why else would we leave the village just to go to Finland? They lied and made us pay £6,000 for an all inclusive holiday to Lapland. They deffo knew this would happen. They’re no better than that Nigerian Prince that still owe us half a mill”

TUI have refused to comment, as has the Nigerian Prince.
