35 year old man feels everything he did in WW2 was pointless

A man has vented his anger at how all the effort he and his ‘boys’ made during the war was for nothing.

Alan Todd born in 1987, has posted a series of facebook rants expressing his disgust that the youth of today don’t know how good they’ve got it, he said, ‘We stormed the beaches, it meant something. Now all they storm is mobile phones and bloody Taylor Swift concerts.’

‘Is that what we died for? Not in my day. In my day we died with honour and respect. The ol’ boys, proper men, they didn’t fanny about with the stuff they die of these days. They didn’t winge about not having a house or having anxiety. Proper men get shot in the head. We all used to do it. We’d go out on a Saturday night, have a laugh and a drink and get shot in the head, show our respects and have another drink.

‘I don’t know why I bothered.’
