A Man who has used the phrase, ‘We should look after our own’, has never done anything for his own, we can reveal.

Glen Gerbal has been throwing the phrase around among friends, work colleagues and social media increasingly in recent weeks but when questioned on the matter, he has yet to ‘look after his own’.

He said, ‘I’m just simply saying we should be looking after our own before anyone else.’

‘Before the migrant issue, was I involved in helping homeless people get houses? No. Was I involved in any protest about insufficient housing developments, or councils selling off publicly funded buildings to private anonymous landlords? No. Did I help former British military personnel get the sufficient training or help after serving for our nation? No.’

‘But will I use all those mentioned in order to get my frustrations out on people who don’t look or sound like me instead of holding elected people to account for better social housing, wages and healthcare? Absolutely, cos we should look after our own.’

After speaking with us, Glen combusted.
