One patient, who cannot be named, has told The Daily Flange the shocking extent to which the abuse goes.

He told us, ‘They keep on telling us we are ill. Giving us pills and keeping us in.’

‘I’ll tell them all the time that I’m fine but they just keep on ploughing us with this nonsense.’

‘When my family visit, I tell them: I got very angry last time so much I was frothing at the mouth, they just wouldn’t listen which was so irritating that it made me scratch my head so much that my hair was coming out.’

‘I’m not sure what else to do for anybody to believe me! It’s not just me either, this place is full of people getting pills shoved on them, and having one walk a day,’
