Local Man thinking of commenting ‘Will probably be student flats’ after shop closure

A 43 year old man is seriously considering writing ‘Will probably be students flats’ on a Facebook post.

Ben Sampson was a student himself 25 years ago but now he’s a grown man, he says things like that.

He said, ‘I’m very observant with how many shops are closing and there aren’t the same big high street shops anymore to take them over, so my bets are on them becoming student flats. If I write that, people will definitely agree with me.’

Ben has often scoffed that former family homes are now being occupied by students, yet doesn’t see that building student flats may help that issue.

‘No, why can’t they just put a Woolworths or a Blockbuster there? Think about the locals for a change. That’s what they give immigrants when they come off the boat, a new flat, a Woolworths and a Blockbusters handed straight to them!’
