"If you can’t handle me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best” insists Southgate

England manager Gareth Southgate has put out an ultimatum in a dramatic Facebook post, we can reveal.

After much criticism from fans and TV pundits, Southgate fired out the status on Facebook alongside a picture of Marilyn Monroe.

One Facebook friend said, ‘He has been putting out really ambiguous statuses and memes during the whole tournament. After the Swiss game he put, ‘You know who your real friends are because they will share this post’, so he was trying to get others to say something. I noticed Gary Neville didn’t share.’

‘Then during half time of the Slovenia match he put up, ‘From now on it’s just me and my kids’, which David Moyes commented three hearts.’

Following the terrific win against Holland Southgate returned to Facebook to write the famous Marilyn Monroe quote, to a host of likes and shares and in which Gary Neville commented ‘So true, hun’.
