Headteacher laughs as she puts an INSET day on Monday after half term

A headteacher has had a good chuckle as she put an INSET day, formerly known as Teachers' Training, on the Monday after the half term holiday.

Susan Alphonsis knew very well what she was doing and admits that spite played a heavy factor.

She told The Daily Flange ‘I just know it’ll be the straw that breaks the camel's back with some of them, the twats.

‘After the holiday I just think it’s nice to ease back into it, so on the Monday you can be sure we will be ch-ii-lling. We’ll have the morning TV on with some biscuits, maybe even a Maccies breakfast, which we can pay for out of the Children in Need appeal. We might even try to ring in to Jeremy Vine before a pub lunch. It’ll be classic teachers training, sorry, ‘INSET day’.’

A fuming father told us, ‘We know this was done out of spite so I’m planning on writing some notes asking questions and taking interest at the next parents' evening, that’ll show them.’
