Famous Holyhead chimney to become Europe's biggest bong

The former Anglesey Aluminium chimney which has not been used in over 10 years is set to become a giant bong.

It was thought the large chimney would soon be demolished but a group of locals campaigned for it to be put to good use.

Keen local bong user Gavin Rowlands said ‘We’ve campaigned endlessly for this. All we’ve ever wanted was a giant bong for the community to use and this massive pipe has been sitting here for years doing nothing.'

‘Now we can all pop along for a toke making use of this famous landmark of Holyhead which we will be renaming soon. Top names in the running are ‘Bong Travolta’, Sylvester StillStoned’ and of course, ‘Anglesey AluminBong’ ' 

Comedowns will be held at the newly reopened Tinto Club.
