Sky Sports News resort to Rugby news

Sky Sports News have had to resort to reporting on Rugby while the football season has a break, we can reveal.

With Premier league on a hiatus until September, the popular sports news channel has been struggling with relevant sports news, so now have now desperately resorted to Rugby.

Sky Sports news chief Simon Scoddle told us, ‘It’s getting tough out there. We know fock all about Rugby and have zero interest in it.’

‘I told the team to get the latest on Jonny Wilkinson but apparently he’s retired. So we’ve just got an hour running story on him about how sad sports people get when they retire. After that we’ll see what Martin Offiah is up to.’
