Scouse man reveals he is Rhos-on-Sea born & bred.

A man who was thought to be a genuine Scouser has revealed he is Rhos-on-Sea born and bred.

Davey ‘Scouse’ Arnold has finally come clean about his background as the pressure was getting to him.

He said ‘I can’t carry on like this. I’ve done the accent now for nearly 30 years and it’s time to let it go. I’ve enjoyed my time with everyone thinking I was scouse and using that as my entire personality but it’s time to pass on the baton.’

Things reached a turning point for Davey when his girlfriend left him, after asking him to show her the Liverpool sights.

‘She was asking me what was the Cavern like in the old days, where was Brookside filmed, I couldn’t keep it up. I tried telling her me and Ringo used to buy our shell suits from the same place and that’s when she rumbled me. The timeline was all over the place. I should’ve said John Aldridge.’

Davey now intends to find his true Rhos-on-Sea voice, ‘It’ll be difficult because we have people here from everywhere, well, at least we think we do, know what I mean, lids! Sorry, lads.’
