Ladies Day women not fooling anyone

The women enjoying ‘Ladies Day’ at Aintree were not fooling anyone, we can report.

Thousands attended the famous Grand National day in Liverpool in their elegant and glamorous dress wear, but despite this, they fooled nobody.

One witness told us, ‘It’s very confusing. They are so beautiful and glamorous, yet you know they’re rough.’

‘I think that is a great talent, and yes it’s very strange that it’s christenings, wedding parties and horse racing that does it, but it just works.’

One ladies day woman told us, ‘I look great, I feel great, I’m like a royal, and if it all kicks off I’ve got 16 of my girlfriends ready to go at any time.’

‘There’s baking soda on the bus to get blood out of our dresses if need be.’

Sixteen fights were reported and one horse death, it’s unclear if they’re linked at this point.
