Chinese takeaway celebrates 10 years of card machine not working

A popular Chinese takeaway is celebrating today after 10 years of the card machine not working.

Dins 浪漫女子 takeaway has been serving up tasty food to hungry locals for over 10 years, and have done it all without ever using a card machine.

Owner Dom told us, ‘So far so good. We’ve had the ‘cash please’ written on a cardboard star for the whole time and that seems to work fine. Lucky since our card machine has been broken. Haha. Also it’s a great thing to make sure we all keep using cash, you just need need to think, ‘I might need a chicken chop suey today’
