Man completes entire medical degree while waiting in A&E

A man has completed his medical degree while waiting in A&E, we can reveal.

Josh Macs had been waiting for so long he decided to take up medicine while sitting in his hospital accident and emergency and even completed the degree before being seen 7 years later.

He told us, ‘After the first two years I was starting to get a little twitchy. So I grabbed some books and a laptop and started the degree.’

‘While waiting, I was actually having to work some days a week on the wards. It was quite tiring doing a full shift and then sitting back in A&E.’

‘After 5 years I was allowed a trolley to sleep on in the corridor which helped a lot.’

Josh was finally seen by himself after a 7 year wait, ‘I sent myself home with some paracetamol.’
