Gary Glitter favourite to be new Archbishop of Canterbury 

Shamed glam rocker Gary F Glitter has become favourite to be the next Archbishop, we can reveal.

After the resignation of Justin Welby, Glitter has been thrown into the mix of possible contenders which the Church of England is expected to be revealing soon. The very reverend Billy Breen was quite excited, he told us, ‘We are keen to move on and learn from our mistakes.’

‘New candidates such as Garry F Glitter is a perfect role model for the church. We believe he is a respected and wise man who will be welcomed to the role.’

When the Daily Flange informed Breen that Glitter was THE Garry Glitter, he said, ‘No no this is Gary F Glitter. It can’t be the same one surely, oh dear, perhaps we should do the checks? Naa, it’ll be fine.’
